2nd place for ‘Idą czasy’! Damian attacks

We got two gigs with Damian! The first, in Jadłodajnia Filozoficzna club, was some kind of official rehearsal before important New Tradition festival. Damian didn’t know all the repertoire, so he played first set, and Sylwia – the second. Damian put a magic spell on the spectators. Sylwia added her own fluids and the whole concert was like the fantastic meeting of two superb violinists.

Then we played at New Tradition festival. It was because we were nominated to the critics award Folk Phonograme 2003. And we were shocked a bit – we finally get second prize!!! Good heaven! Our CD is number two in Poland. Nice but truth.

The performance at New Tradition was short (about 20 minutes) but fine. Damian played as he be with us a long long time. The band was concentrated and has right interplay. And our 20 minutes was transmitted live by Polish Radio Programme 2. As the whole concert. The same time Sylwia was in Berlin with Warsaw Village Band.

Now we go to Cracow, to our first concert in this old polish town. We gonna play in one of the best known jazz club in Cracow – Harris Piano Jazz Bar. With Damian. Sylwia will be recording with Warsaw Village these moments…
