Kasia Klebba – ’cause we got luck

(5.08.2004)
It is not easy to lead a band, whose main violinist has been touring a world with another band… Of course, we got a brilliant “substitute”, but sometimes Damian got his own priorities and is not able to play with us. That’s the case of gig in Lapidarium Club (Warsaw, Old Town, August 20th). But we are lucky persons, ’cause we have found another fantastic player. Her name is Katarzyna Klebba, she is some kind of legend of polish underground music. She often played with polish off-theatres (Teatr Ósmego Dnia, Teatr Cinema), plus had recorded two important CD’s with independent music “Ni Sa Ni” by Łowżył-Tymański-Klebba-Chandran group and “Kultikula” by Kultikula group. On some web-sites you can find the really thrilling information that Klebba were playing on the soundtracks of two legendary films by Quai Brothers – “The Street of Crocodiles” and “Benjament Institute”. For now we are not sure if these last informations are true, but everything is possible [and almost everything is real… ].
