Gardzienice

We have just returned from small village near Lublin, called Gardzienice. We – means: few people from the band. In Gardzienice works alternative theatre well-known all over the world as Ośrodek Praktyk Teatralnych Gardzienice (www.gardzienice.art.pl).

We went there to see last spectacle – “Elektra” – in place of its birth. And take some of energy who is beating on this scene and around. And meet true miracles that happens between these actors and the audience. 

Finally we were impressed. Some of us even more… The scenery of that day was unusal too – it was March but very snowy, dark and cold. White sky melting with white fields, getting darker and darker… 

Sometimes it’s worth to hit the road.

We went to Gardzienice for one more reason, but let us tell about it next time.
