That’s all for this year

(20.12.2004) We had just played last gig in this year - at Diuna club, Warsaw. Fine place and good music, we hope.   Live at Diuna. Fot. Ewa Hawryluk-Stasiak

Number 50!

(16.11.2004) We have played concert #5o! At first it was planned to be done in Lublin, but finally we made it in Warsaw, at Traffic club, 6th of November.  Nine days before this gig our drummer Paweł had just stopped to arrive at the rehearsals, telling us that he is not able to play this unniversary gig. So we asked Janusz Kossakowski (drummer of →

Three appearances in different line-ups

(25.08.2004) This August is probably the most crazy month in band history - as far as gigs are concerned. We had three gigs and every was played in different line-up! First - in Lubin - was this one without violin at all! Sylwia and Damian (and Serhan) couldn't be present at this event, so we had decided to play only with →

Kasia Klebba – ’cause we got luck

(5.08.2004) It is not easy to lead a band, whose main violinist has been touring a world with another band... Of course, we got a brilliant "substitute", but sometimes Damian got his own priorities and is not able to play with us. That's the case of gig in Lapidarium Club (Warsaw, Old Town, August 20th). But we are lucky persons, 'cause →

2nd place for ‘Idą czasy’! Damian attacks

(1.05.2004) Hello Friends in Europe! Nice to be with You. We hope so. :-) We got two gigs with Damian! The first, in Jadłodajnia Filozoficzna club, was some kind of official rehearsal before important New Tradition festival. Damian didn't know all the repertoire, so he played first set, and Sylwia - the second. Damian put a magic spell on the spectators. Sylwia added →

Franz Josef Tour – we did it!

(25.11.2003) Didn't we tell You: "we are working on the Franz Josef Tour"? And we DID this tour. We played on Zakopane, Budapest (2 times), Ostrava and Lodz. Every gig was different but one thing was the same: day by day we were playing better and better. We know, we know - it is not good to complement ourselves... :-) The tour, even small tour, is →

‘Idą czasy’ anti-tour

(1.06.2003) We have just finished the first part of our "IDĄ CZASY ANTI-TOUR". "IDĄ CZASY" is the title of our new lovely CD and can be translated as "HERE COMES A TIMES". ""ANTI-TOUR" means that we promote this album through the set of single gigs, that are going to go till the end of this year. And maybe next year too... Our last concerts were →

Great time in Budapest

(29.09.2002) Due to polish independent journalist Ziutek and few people like Wojtek Kriston from Polish Instytut in Budapest we have just spent few beautifull days in this city. We had played there on Wyszehrad Festival, representing Poland. Music, live interview in RTL television (our first visit in TV!), trips through Budapest, Hungarian food etc... Great time! STILO in Budapest. Fot.: archives of Banalita band, one of the artists playing →

Global Beat and CK Zamek

(13.08.2002) We've just returned from two concerts at Wielkopolska region - Global Beat open-air music festival in Krotoszyn and CK Zamek in Poznań.

Nowa Tradycja – I prize!!!

STILO & Nowa Tradycja. Fot. Radiowe Centrum Kultury Ludowej (20.04.2002) Uff... it happened. Unexpected I prize at Nowa Tradycja, probably the most prestigious ethno festival in Poland. Great pro-STILO audience, warm applause, crossed fingers, charming banner presented by Marysia Białota and Przemek Piłaciński - shortly speaking very high wave that took us away and helped to play two good (we hope) mini-concerts. Thanx for all →
